Canada- Danielle Gauthier & Pierre Guénette: Velvet

Hello Joan,

We are sending you enclosed a few pictures of our new baby girl which we named "Velvet".

We are a bit late getting back to you but we had a problem with our computer and now everything is back to normal.

First of all we would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to buy such a nice girl which we are very proud to add to our family.

Second, this is our 5th Great Dane and she is the most easiest one.  For her age she came trained in a lot of ways.  She goes on the paper and when we go to give her a treat she sits down and waits.

Maximus, our Blue dane is the happiest of all.  He now has someone to play with because Harley, our Brindle dane is much older.

You can see in the pictures that all of them are best buddies already.  The pictures without our other danes were taken the same night we came home with Velvet and the ones with our other danes were taken the next day.

We would also like to thank you for staying in contact with us when the flight was delayed overnight.

We also had a friend who works for the airline which kept us informed of the exact departure from Cleveland and exact arrival in Toronto.  We saw the plane land.

Hope to hear from you in the very near future and we would be more than happy to recommend you to future buyers.

We will keep you posted on her progress.  She already went to the vet here and she is in perfect health.

Again, thank you for everything and for the lovery girl.

Sincerely,
Danielle Gauthier & Pierre Guénette

Sabra: Tuvock

Dear Joan,

I just want to Thank You for giving me this Wonderful Opportunity to raise this Beautiful Boy. For entrusting in me to give him a Safe and Healthy home. I highly respect your work. You are a Wonderful Person and Breeder and the love for your Danes is so apparent. Thank You for all of your advise and guidance throughout this past year. And I wish you the Greatest Success with the showing of your lines. I find it a privilege to work with such a great person as you are. I will continue to strive to produce the best quality Danes that I can. And look forward to watching and learning from you. I also want to Thank You for how Healthy and well adjusted  Tuvock was when he came here. He fit in the first day. Now he thinks he owns the place. He sleeps with me every night. He is the only male in the house with the girls and he loves the puppies. He just lays there and watches them and will lick them when they come close. He is a lover boy. I would truly like to see him in the Show Ring. I just know that he would do well..... Thank You for making my Dream Dane come True.

I look forward to working with you in the future. If your looking for a Healthy, Clean, Well adjusted and socialized puppy you can't go wrong with Joan and her puppies. She truly cares about their well being and where they are placed. It's been truly an honor for me.

Sincerely, Sabra

Erica: Daisy Diamond

Hello Joan,
Hope this finds you and your family doing well - just wanted to send an update.  Diamond is doing great... she is actually sleeping at my feet on the bed as I type this to you.  She is adjusting to her new home really well.  She plays often with our lab Harvey and they seem to be adjusting to each other really good- we're seeing good signs- tails are up and wagging, playful wrestling, and finally submissive bellies to each other quite recently.

We have started calling her Daisy Diamond - our son started it and it's stuck... she wags her tail, so she seems pretty agreeable!  We are just in love with her, her disposition is just lovely.  She's not shy which is good, and watching her around the house just brings a smile to my face, she is at my side when I cook, smelling all the different foods.  she follows our son David around the house, and is just so comfy either on the couch or in the bed.   I would have to imagine going from a farm life to a quieter home life is a change, but she seems to be adjusting well.  I have been back to work part time and she is doing well in the house 4-6 hours at a time.
I took her to our vet yesterday, and got a good check up.  We are discussing having her spayed, so we may consider this sometime in the future here.  I brought her in to meet our vet so we could get a record going, and he could get to know her... we didn't do any vac's because you mentioned her rabies was current, though I am wondering how recent her distemper was?  The vet asked if she had been on any type of hormone therapy recently - I think he might factor this into when he recommends having her spayed should we decide to.
I have a photo on my cell I will email to you after I send this.
Thanks again, Joan.  We feel very lucky to have "Daisy Diamond" with us.  She is just precious!

Barb: Walker and Texas Ranger

Joan,

How are you doing?  The new litter is just the cutest, so tempting to get another Obie puppy.  Ranger is so mellow and loving.  And of course, our little Walker is just a hoot.  They are so happy together and we love having them.

At night, Ranger goes to bed in his crate about 1/2 hour before Walker.  He gets up, comes to my chair, gives me a kiss and goes to his crate.  Walker, of course being the oldest, likes to stay up later.  If we let him do that, then he is quiet in his crate the rest of the night.

Thanks,
Barb
